Are these bulbs legal?

Are these 10000k JDM bulbs legal? I live in Oklahoma btw. Also how will the quality of these lights compare to the OEM buls which I belive are like 4300k? Will these bulbs illuminate the road more clearly with brighter lighting?

i'd say no, 10000k is pretty blue, and the police don't exactly appreciate blue colored lamps on your vehicle, it makes it seem like it's an emergency vehicle

probably won't be brighter also, i'm not too sure on this one, but for the legality of them, you will be stopped for it

with headlights, if it's 99% stock, its not legal. has to be 100% factory stock automaker spec

also 10,000k will drastically reduce your usable light

10000k emits a LOT less light when compared to the stock 4300k. It also looks ridiculous IMHO. Lots of big, jacked-up pickup trucks around here with 8000k/10000k HID kits in their factory housings.

10000k is also hardly JDM.

If you want JDM, put 3000k bulbs in your headlights. That's JDM.

Yep. A lot of Ford/Chevy/Dodge owners around here do the same thing unfortunately.

The worst thing about the HID's isn't the color, its the fact that those ****ty cars do not have teh correct housings for them to direct the light correctly and you know the hood rats don't retro fit them....

8000K is the highest you will ever really want to go if you want decent light output at all.

exactly. there's a little bit of blue on the ground immediately in front of their bumper aaaand that's about it.

^ They AREN'T the K in the description stands for Kelvin and is NOT an indication of brightness it is a unit of measurement for Temperature. The 20K pink bulbs just burn at a higher temperature and that creates a different color. They actually have less light output.

Personally....I wouldn't go with anything above 6K (white-blue light).....the higher you go in the K-temperature....the more tinted the light will get----yellow-white-blue-purple-etc......and the crappier the useable light output will be.....like someone said before....you will see blue immediately in front of the car.....and that's about it.....forget about seeing anything at all in the rain

Just remember when you are cross-shopping.....the K-temperature rating is not regulated and thus varies drastically from one manufacturer to another....thus one manufacturers 6K may be anothers 8K etc......
