will these SE parts fit my GXE?

i have a 94 GXE and was wondering if a few things would fit. first i have heated and powered side mirrors that are body colored. would black ones of a SE fit? if so what year and can i find them heated and/or powered? also how well do the 4th or 5th gen. rims fit our car? is there a noticable difference? i heard they are heavier, but i duno?? and finaly is there any way to change or dress up the "maxima" across the back middle section between the tails? it is kind of dark, dirty and pitted. thanks guys!

as for the tails...im thinking of taking the chrome "MAXIMA" trunk label from a 97-99 and gluing it onto the existing gray "MAXIMA" on my 92; maybe u can try that. Im not exactly sure yet because i havent measured the 97-99 but i do know that the 3rd gen "MAXIMA" on the tails is 13" across

you can take the mirrors off of a 92-94 se. they will fit perfectly. i was gonna do this with mine, but they cheapest i could find them for was 60 bucks a piece so i just ended up painting mine black myself. let me know if ya wanna try painting yours and i'll post instructions on how to do it (what to use, ect.).

thanks guys. quick good answers from all. matt: how did they turn out? im afraid to paint stuff, because it looks cheap and nasty sometimes. how did yours turn out? also the mirror housing has some small chips and cracks. would i bondo this before i paint? i am interested in doing this if it looks good. did it make your max look nicer? i have a pearl gxe. what does everyone think? SEguy or anyone: does the rims from the 4th and 5th change handling/ performance at all? i like the way they look. anyone got any ideas on the cost of a set of 4? thanks again all.

they help handle alittle bit, for 4th gen rims (the 16in) u can look in the for sale forum and pick 4 up for about 300-450 with/out tires....just look around, not sure about the 5th gen rims

i think the bigger u go, the more u loose ride quality, i just picked up the 16in se rims, so i dont have them on my car to tell u what the ride is like.

i'm not exactly sure what year and if it's only SE's, but i know some mirrors are extruded(?) farther out than earlier years and some are power and some are power/heated. i think there was a recent post on this. you could search or i'm sure someone will correct me or agree with me on this soon. also, i know someone on the board out the 4th gen MAXIMA on their tail. i think it looked good - i think they took the stock one off first too.

I have the 5th gen SE wheels with Yokohama AVS db 225/55-16s and I personally think the ride is much smoother than the stock 15s. One factor is my tires. They are one of the quietest sets available with great performance. I think you'll be happy with the 16s.
