I have Bose stock unit which skips randomely..i know its not because of disc or moisture..it does not play or skips even if I insert an original CD during cold start or after warm up. but sometimes it even plays the damaged cds too..

so I am looking for just the CD player unit..if anyone has the CD player..let me know.

I got the Cd player from 2005 Maxima. It works fine. No more skipping now.

 

just curious as to what you paid for the headunit? im looking for one my self. speaker shorts out on driver side over bumps
