Alabama Maxs kick a$$ at the track tonight...

Well, I have new best time.

OSCAi only, 95 GXE Automagic with 138000 miles...

15.27 @ 89.11mph
And I G-Teched 0-60 in 6.77 on a slower (15.35) run.

I am VERY happy with that.

I'll let everyone else who was there chime in on their own. (psst, 2k2 GLE with cone intake ran 14.44)

I'll have pics and slips scanned one of these days...

I don't want to offend anyone but everytime I hear Alabama all I can think about is "My Cousin Vinny"...

On another note, good job everyone!

There was this guy there with a superchared integra GSR. He couldn't break 14.2.

He tells everyone it runs 13.5, but we found out it can only do that with one of his friends driving. Is this the definition of ricer....

Ok, I ran at Steele the last few times. I know of a 4 door s/c'ed GS-R that runs 13.8's at SDR in Georgia, but he has slicks. On street tires he didn't better the low 14's due to traction.

I raced him back when I had the Prelude, before the internal build, he beat me with the slicks. I beat him, 14.2 versus 14.4, when he ran on street tires. He was coming back at the end though.

The track is in Montgomery and all of us except a few live here. Two guys came from Auburn. The cooler (frigid) temperatures were doing wonders for our cars. Ben and I are going to schedule another meet/ track day when the track re-opens in a few weeks.

Peace,
Daniel

Daniel perhaps in March I would like to go to Alabama if you guys hold another then. As for now I have to upgrade my clutch and one more big mod to make it worth my while to go out there to meet you. But 14.4 da_, thats fast as hell you hang with Mustangs GT stock, I cant imagine what a ypipe and exhaust would do, thats another 20 Imported Ponies under your hood

I hope we will have a meet in March and one in late Jan./or early Feb. I am very anxious to test out my new exhaust. It would be great if we could get more Maximas and hell, altimas and sentras. I played with a guy in town that has a spec-v sentra - he runs 15.5 stock and now has an intake and exhaust.

man, keep the car in good shape, take out the backseat... get a Y-pipe + catback and you're in the 14's. It's crazy, Maximas are moving up.. I remember people going nuts over theblue running mid to high 14s with like an intake and a catback? or whatever.. now there is an N/A VQ 5spd that runs 14.2. Then a nearly 14 sec. and nearly stock automatic VQ

so who will be the 1st to break 11s in the Maxima ?
