Toyota 4 piston?
It could be done. the old Z guys did them in their S30 chassis Zs.
However, there are already kits done with better and lighter calipers that have better pad selections. so you'd be doing a lot of work to reinvent a wheel that's already been reinvented.

I'm thinking a little elbow grease and ingenuity to save some cash. Toyota pickups are plentiful, 4 piston nissan calipers are not, in my neck of the woods. Brembo, Wilwood, etc are out of the question for me. I'm thinking wrecking yard Stang Rotors+Yota calipers for $50.

you can get Z calipers at local parts stores for $69 each.
being frugal is one thing. spending 2 days of work to save $50 on parts is a waste, IMO.
not to mention the prices of brake pads for Toyota calipers are higher and less selection than the Z calipers.
backwards move, dude.
