Had this laying around from my old 5 speed swap. It came from a Cali spec car, my car was a cali spec and it worked great, only I needed a 98' so thats why it was pulled. Perfect working condition asking SOLD!

Well I actually have scottys car now. its the vq30de, with a custom turbo kit on it. Ive been searching for an ecu solution because he sold the car to me without one, and im not really sure what to run. I assume because they used a 96 ecu thats what I need, but because this is from the same generation it may work? I also assume I need a manual ecu... but he used a JWT ecu at one point, so it might have been AT with the gear position set to neutral?

 

Oh ok, well, technically it can work on a 96' with some modification. the harness connector pins are different between 95-96 and 97-99 ecu... Honestly, I would recommend just looking for a 95-96 ECU, just to avoid all the headaches, just want to be upfront about it....good luck man....
