Installed Injen CAI today

Well I finally got around to installing the Injen CAI today. Everything went smooth until I discovered that I don't have a Intake Air Temp Sensor to plug into the CAI. Why don't I have it? I have no clue, it just wasn't there. This brings me to ask the question of the day. How important is this IAT Sensor to you?

What would you do?

A) Fix it the right way (buy it and install)
B) Ignore it and wrap electrical tape over the hole in the CAI.

You sure you didnt find it? Its in one of the plastic intake mufflers. If not, then no worries. Plug the hole and run without it. Youll be fine.

Nope, I've searched the engine bay like 50 times and nothing. Poof .... gone.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't think it was a big deal to have it or not.

It's not all that important obviously since you didn't even know it was gone before the install.

That is correct, however my question was directed towards you guys. I wanted to know if it meant anything to YOU as far as the IAT sensor being connected or not.

I would personally just like it connected but it's not "in" my intake at all, it sorta just hangs near the battery. But here's an interesting little read from way back;
