what year? i'm thinking about building a new intake for my 03', and could use the cash to purchase parts needed.. it'd take me a week to get new parts and you'd have to wait til the new one is installed so lmk if you're interested asap to get this rolling..

it's better than an injen, quieter, smoother, and sounds pretty beastly at WOT

this is the maf sensor adapter: $13

then buy a 3" k&n inverted cone filter, part # RR - 3003 about $70...

then buy a 3-3" coupling, and i think the maf-pipe is a 3.5-3.5" depending on how you set it up couplings with o-rings

after that you just use the stock ribbed couplng to connect everthing to the throttle body, then you just need 5 m6 x1.25 bolts and 4 nuts, and hoses to connect the air hoses...

so you could either do this for about $150, or spend at least $230 on an injen intake

 

when i had an 00, i had a 2.5" catback made at an exhaust shop with a flowmaster 40 series muffler 2.5in/2.5out, and paid around $200 for the pipe fabrication and muffler with tip... i loved the sound of it combined with the intake i made ^^listed a post above^^ but it was a little too loud for me eventually and i put a 18" magnaflow resonator in there and kept the performance with a pretty unique and badass sound
