People are talking about the 295 hp CLS/TLS in the near future. For the CLS the 6 speed looks like will be out for 2003, not sure about the TLS. Should that holds true, the HP race should be interesting.
Since the Maxima will go thru some rumoured significant changes, I wonder if the TLS will follow suit to compete with the Maxima, or will it remain FWD 6 cyclinder to go against the Altima SE?

Having tested the TL-S, the car is sweet. The things that prevented me from getting one was $100 a month difference in lease payment, tranny problem (CL forum has a section dedicated to it), and the bratty Acura drivers in my city.

Bottom line: I love the Maxima. Doesnt matter if I win many and lose some Besides, when I stare at the Acura owners most of them will stick their tails between their legs

 

Not too unexpected. Rumor has it that the next Acura RL will have a 3.5L -4.0L V8 making 350hp!

 

Acura still doesn't have an answer for the almighty G35!

 

i will believe it when i see it.. like the 5spd Manual Accord they promised in Feb 2000

 

A manual accord about f_ _king time they come out with a real sport coupe I wonder how much hp it will have? The s2000 is nice but its a 2 seater and no space I need space especially when I travel.
