Wow, I heard a kinda grinding sound on the way home the other day, a bit of an oscillation and worse when at a constant speed of slowing down. I got home and found two lugnuts missing, and a third one loose! eeeeeeeeekkkkkkk... Guess we forgot to tighten them up after the last race...

So, do I have to go to a dealer to get matching lugnuts, or will an auto parts store have them? I can't remember if everyone uses the same style and size or not...

**Note to self**

Check lug's after racing/dragging.

Feel sorry for your max. Its missing some nuts. Hehe.. Yep, you can pick up lugnuts at the autoparts store. I know the pepboys that I sometimes go to has them. BUT, they didn't have my size when I went. They were out of stock. The key to my wheel locks broke. So I had the wheel locks taken off and I was driving around with 4 lugs on each wheel for a while. But yeah, the pepboys usually carried the lugnut. But they were just out the day I went.

Buy some factory wheel locks from courtesyparts.com

then you'll have two extra lug nuts once you put the locks on.
Down at maxus 2k pioneer saw that I was missing a lug nut...so I tighted the other 4 and luckily made it back to NY with no troubles and used one of the four extra lug nuts I had that came with my rims. Now I keep two extra in the car just in case that happenes again. If I loose two more I have my factory nuts that I use on my winter rims
I would get wheel locks to replace instead of replacement lugs just in case this happens....
