will i roast this civic?

one of my managers from work has a civic, not sure what year but its the mid-late 90s gen, a 5spd....my max: 92 SE auto. One of my co-workers raced him with his 96 Hyundai Sonata auto, they were both basically neck and neck the whole race. I think ill have a fair chance with this guy, although im not sure what performance mods hes got; other than these "cool blue" headlights

Umm, what kind of Civic? An SI will probably beat you. On the other hand, my max has beat the EX and DX versions.

uhhhh, if you can't take a stock Sonata then you need to get your car to the shop.

if you can't beat this guy,
1. he's definitely not stock
2. your car needs work.
3. you can't drive.

don't get nitpicky. if they were both neck and neck, they're both about the same car.

the civic..it depends what kind of mods if any he has.
you have the upper hand if racing high end.
otherwise..should be a good race!

Those sonata's are alright. But I can pull on them. So you should be able to. I predict you will slowly pull away from the civic.
