Corner light rewire question

I did the corner light rewire so that they are always bright and for some reason the are no longer bright. They dont even get brighter when i hit the turn signal. Anyone else had this problem? Should replacing the bulbs solve the problem or will they do the same thing.

I check my wiring and it was fine the "bright" filament on my bulbs burned out. Has anyone else had this problem? Were they cheap bulbs or what. Any one with this mod, what kind of bulbs do you use and how long do they last?

The wiring harness wasn't fried. You know how that bulb is a dual filament, The high wattage filament was burnt out but the low wattage filament was fine. I don't know what the deal is. Da-Max, what kind of bulbs do you use and have they ever burnt out after a few months in the corner lamp?

I have the stock watt bulbs in there now, 21/5 watts, but I've had superwhites in there before and everything worked out fine, not sure of their wattage though. I just ordered some superwhite 1157s though...they are 27/8 watts, so hopefully I won't run into any probs......
