My New Car Washing/Detailing Tool

I'm getting older and sitting on the ground to clean the wheels and the lower parts of the car is just uncomfortable. Actually I'm 6'4" so honestly I've never been able to get comfortable with that stuff because of my gargantuan legs.

I was in Wally world a couple of weeks ago and they had these little Lawn buddy carts for $29.99 so I picked one up. I flippin love it. I can sit and clean one wheel and I can then roll to the next wheel without even having to stand

Now I don't find it such a chore to wash and wax the cars. I even used it this weekend to paint part of my garage floor.

The cupholders are pretty much just decoration. They aren't deep enough to keep any drink from falling over but I guess if I really wanted I could store some beverages on the inside because the handle lifts up. There is a little compartment underneath it.

I'm 66 y/o and just bought a new 2011 Maxima. Going to wax it today. I like your "lawn buddy" idea.

Smurfsdad - Get yourself a Lawn Buddy, you won't regret it. I find myself using it for all sorts of projects. Heck the other night I sat on it in the garage and watched the baseball game while having a few beers. I just felt like hanging out in the garage for some reason, I guess it's my man cave since I don't really have a man cave in this house.

That's a great idea! I have an old leather swivel office chair...I removed the back and now I just roll around on that for my detailing needs...improvising works wonders.

That looks hilarious. Reminds of a little kids red cart.

Im 6'7" and understand your pain!

I used a creeper seat in at a detail shop where I used to work.
With full swivel rollers and an open tray it was the best solution for getting low and being able to easily move anywhere I needed.
No cupholders though

+1
Thats what I use for: washing and detailing wheels, the lower part of the car, and especially the front of the car when it is covered with bugs. These carts are nice because they have a padded seat, 4 casters to turn in any direction and have a tray to hold stuff. My cart isn't a MAC tools brand. I think I bought it from Autozone.

the lawn buddy's and the creeper seats are good idea's. At the shop I used to work at, the techs used those rolling seats all the time.
