New Bosch water pump leaking

A month ago, I replaced the original water pump that had a slow coolant leak thru the weep hole that served me for 113K miles with a brand new Bosch water pump purchased from Pep Boys.

With the new Bosch water pumped installed, my Maxima ran for about two weeks put on only 200 miles on and detected no coolant leak until yesterday.
My Maxima passed coolant leak test after I installed the new Bosch water pump until yesterday I noticed the wet spot on the pavement directly below the water pump area yesterday morning when I came out to the drive way...
Immediately pull the car into the garage, put it on the jack stands for diagnostics.
Sure enough, the coolant is dripping from the from water pump weep hole (dripping from the 2nd groove/channel on the block if you're looking up at the water pump area from the ground).

I'm very disappointed that the new Bosch water pump is already leaking with only 200 miles on it... As everyone knows the water pump replacement project is hard work and I had hoped my effort would pay off for at least few years but instead only lasted 200 miles... sigh...
I'm going to start taking it apart and I'll return the Bosch water pump back to PepBoys.

Has anyone had any issues with new Bosch water pump?
I'm thinking getting a different brand now... will see what happens once I remove the Bosch water pump today or tomorrow.

Removed the Bosch water pump and returned to Pep Boys for parts return credit.
Bosch water pump larger O-ring seal was damaged. Bosch O-ring was made with too much clearance and loose so the O-ring got squeezed by one of the water pump mounting bolt which caused coolant leak just in 200 miles of operation.

So I went and bought a different new water pump from Autozone (Duralast brand), came with lifetime warranty. Quality of Autozone water pump is much better! Almost identical to the original water pump and even the color of the larger O-ring was orange like the original. I installed the Autozone water pump over the weekend, 2nd time was a bit easier because I learned a few things to make the job a bit easier 2nd time around but still a PITA nonetheless and cleaning off the new Permatex Ultra Black RTV took a long time also.
So far I've put on about 40 miles without leaks and normal operating cooling system temperatures. Hoping I've got the water pump project completed without any issues this time. Twice in a month is way more than I expected...

I'll try to put up a sticky to help others when I find some time to gather my data & pics.

I've got about 100 miles on Autozone water pump and still nice & dry. I'm feeling good about using Autozone water pump. Travis, Thanks for heads up on Autozone hydraulic parts!
