Having trouble with folding LED mirrors

Hi Guys,

I've had folding LED mirrors for a while now. Got them around winter. Decided to just install them. Door Pane;/old out, new in was all a piece of cake. The new LED Folding mirrors plugged right into the adapter that was left empty after i removed the OEM mirrors.

The mirrors also came with the following cables:

4 pin adapter with 4 cables (orange, red, black and yellow i think). One end of the adapter plugged into the mirrors, leaving behind naked wires that are to be run to Dome Light/Turn Signals. No biggie.

OEM Nissan switch with the folding button option to be swapped with the old one. Did that.

However, and here's where i'm stuck...the wire colors for the new switch and the wires it comes with are different than the old wires on the old switch.

What i did is, and stupid me, i read the diagram the mirrors came with. I pulled the wires out of the old plug first, leaving them bare with the crimped connectors now exposed. Then i proceeded to strip new switch wires (with corresponding colors) to the old ones on the metal pins themselves. Wrapped 'em up with electric tape. Leaving behind 3 wires. Orange, Red, and Black or white i believe. These are supposed to go to ACC (i'm assuming that's accessory?), GROUND, ROOM LAMP.

My dialemma is one of being an idiot when it comes to wiring.

I now have those 3 cables unplugged for the time being. But with the adapter plugged in, i figured i'd give the mirrors a spin and at least get them to move in/out at least so i can adjust them for driveability. The min i rotated the ****, the mirror fused popped taking out my HU and Radio. I had a spare. I replaced it. I now have radio and clock back.

But i'm pretty much screwed on the wiring end of the mirrors. I dont wanna drop $200 to have them wire it. If i can do it myself with your help.

A few of you guys have done it. I would immensely grateful to you if you can please please just write or draw me a simple diagram that's for dummies that shows which color wires from new mirror should go to which wires from old harness.

I can upload picture of the wires as they are tomorrow. But if any of you have done it, and installed the same mirrors. Please help a brotha out....

Unfortuately, I can't help you based on what you've provided.
Sounds like you may be better off paying someone to do this for you, otherwise you risk damageto mirrors, and most importantly the SECU

Alright.

What kinda place would do the wiring for me? I tried the tuner shop my house. They quoted me $196+ to install these when i first got 'em. I stopped by there today, and the guy there said they don't do that stuff.

Would an audio shop do it?

Thanks for your help anyways.

You need wiring diagrams. TBH, you've also caused more work than there would have been, thus, driving the cost up. Not only does someone have to wire it in, they first have to find out what you did, fix it,THEN wire it in properly and rearrange the mess.

We've all done sillythings like this to try and save money, live and learn. Cough up the dough to have them installed. I have no idea who you could get to do it for youthough, start asking around, professional audio installer is a decent place to start. I'd search for auto-electrician
