no offense, but it looks like my 95 grille but wire instead of the plastic and no nissan emblem. id be happier to see this with thicker mesh and the stock clips if you ever do a 95-96 grille.

No offense but without mounting tabs wed have to ziptie this thing to our cars and thats like takin regular screened mesh and doing the same....if you want 130 for a grill i suggest making mounting tabs for them...just my two cents...

It comes with 4 mounting tabs on the back of the grille and you can install it like the stock grille.

No problem with the fitment, but it would be better to have some nice pictures to advertise our new product.

well I was supposed to test fit the prototype, but I never got an email back. I finally got an email stating I needed to buy a production piece at $120 shipped, after you had originally told me that I would test fit one or two prototypes, for the cost of shipping ($28), and then when the production model came out you would offer me one for a generous discount. Only reason I didnt get the grille at $120 is I never received an email from you in nearly 3 months about test fitting a prototype. I figured you had found someone else to test fit your prototype's and such....I guess not

The grille fits fine, you only need to drill holes on the mounting tabs and attach it to the stock mounting holes with screws or bolts, it is optional to repaint it or leave it as is, simply send us the pictures after you have installed it on your car, we have 2 more left for $129.99 with no shipping cost as a special offer, this is the best deal we can offer.

Was the grill made using an OEM style grill as its template?
If so, and If the mounting tabs are whole, then once you line it up and mark where to drill the mounting holes it should fit pretty good. It is aftermarket so there will always be a chance it may not fit perfectly but sometimes thats a chance you have to take when modding. Even if so, it can always be made to fit with some creativity and patience.
O well, Im sure with the lack of willing buyers to place orders this will be another product that will be eventually discontinued.

I agree.. If I had a lot more money to spend, I'd get it for sure. $130 is a LOT for a grill in my opinion.

Sarona grills are even more $$ and their fitment is horrible. They require a lot to make them flush and fit right which adds even more to their costs.
Honestly 130 bux shipped is priced pretty good.

If 130.00 is a LOT for a grill, what do you think it should costs? 50 bux?
Honestly, you guys want too much for very little. This is why no one wants to make products for such a dated vehicle.

Sarona's are only about $100 shipped off eBay but speaking from experience, they're fitment is terrible. I still have that CF one I bought off you sitting in the box because with stock headlights it doesn't line up for ****. I have to try again when I finish redoing my retro.

Hmmm, Ive never really seen them on Ebay.
I never even bothered with that one I had but Ive spokent to others and they told me they had to have a body shop alter to them to fit which I wouldve done if I didnt have a better option which I did.

I personally think $130 is reasonable for a grille, especially when there aren't that many aftermarket parts for our cars. I saw this coming, a bunch of leper wanting an aftermarket grille for their cars and when it came down to it no one wants it (or wants to be the first to get it). C-mod props on giving us one more thing to add to the market for our cars, price is reasonable and I hope this doesn't discourages u to offer more things for our cars in the future...

There is a reason why nobody is jumping on it though. People need install pics and proof that fitment is good. 99% of people are going to drop $130+ on something without seeing it on a car first

Jesus... I'm almost willing to get the grill to help these guys out and sell it to someone else local.... I didn't even want this grill to begin with but this is absolutely sad guys.

I'm with Flava 100% on this one, it's a mod, take the plunge, stop being so cheap....

Now I'm back in typical maxima owner mode, I gotta ask, why is the grill for the 08 Accord like $20 cheaper (In reality like $40 cheaper, cause you said 157 shipped)

Check our C-mod website at www.cmodgrilles.com, we have a large inventory for custom made sport style mesh grilles, besides billet style but it is a different taste. You can check on Google too see how many customers have purchased and installed our grilles on their Maxima and many other cars. This will give you confidence to buy from us.

As for the fitment, this is one of the most easiest grilles to install out of all the other grilles we made. You only need to drill holes on the mounting tabs to attach it to the stock holes with bolts or screws, minor modifications may be required as with any aftermarket parts. Unless you can prove us that the fitment is terrible, you can return it for a refund. This will guarantee your purchase.

As for the pictures, we are giving out the best deal with free shipping cost to members who will send us installed pictures later and we are working on it, you have to be patient.

As for the price, we have posted the details during the production, you should look before you put your names on the list.

Look, we took the risk when we started the production based on the fact that there were over 20 people signed up for the group deal. We invested a lot of money for the production including buying parts, making mold, materials and labors at the shop, we did not even ask any of you for deposits until we have it finished as fast as possible. Furthermore we have to pay to be a vendor to advertise on this forum which is not cheap.

We are disappointed with the lack of interests and the poor sales will discourage us to be a vendor on this forum, don't even ask us if we would make another new grille for the Maxima 95-96. Other companies see this will be reluctant to make more parts for your cars. Basically it will be more difficult for you to find parts for your cars as most parts will be discontinued and no companies will take risks to make new parts for outdated vehicles.

They used to be on eBay all day for $100 shipped. I was gonna buy one but bought Flava's CF one instead.

GLWS. Try to get someone local for some test fitting.

I just took the plunge and ordered one at this special pricing. I will post a full review, with detailed pics in conjunction/cooperation with C-mod.

I agree with you and Flava regarding the typical org members being cheap and complaining about prices, it's ridiculous. IMO, the price is fair for this custom made part. But I will really only know for sure once I have it in my possession and installed. Stay tuned......

^^^please put some detailed pics on the install, I know there is going to be that one idiot that's no going to measure right or align it wrong and make a big deal of it not fitting properly. Glad you took the "risk" in getting the first one, but being able to return it and c-mods other grille's fitting well, you shouldn't have a problem.

I would of bought the grille with no hesitation but mesh style grille's don't catch my interest (for maxima's atleast). Maybe when wizard post pics, it may change my mind...

They should try owning a car that is expensive to mod. Most mods for my E39 M5 were more than the cost of my 4th gen Maxima. My STi was similar. A bunch of broke *** whiny fools!

I'm poor too...but I don't complain about mod prices either.

I saw this coming, and its 100% true.
So many members here cry and complain for items to be made availble to them, and once they are everyone feels that they are priced too high.
What people fail to realize is the aftermarket scene for our cars is small, very small. Without a huge demand for parts, the items that are available will always costs more then items being sold to a group that has a much larger demand such as Civics and etc.
The org is just full of cheap individuals. They all want to play the modding game but dont wanna shell out the cash to do so. You can tell by just looking at most of their cars, unpainted kits, cheap knock off parts, wall molding for lips,.... then they have the nerve to bash Honda owners calling them ricers.

Exactly, but in reality they are to poor to even buy one of those higher end vehicles.
