i was messing w/ sum dynamat in my trunk today and i was messing a lil w/ the latch that opens/closes the trunk and now my trunk doesnt open...i cant even crawl into my trunk cuz my sub box is in the way and too heavy for me to move...any ideas?

did you try the key in the trunk keyhole?
kinda the same thing with my trunk. the little lever thing that pushes the release mechanism (which is on the trunk itself) got bent somehow and now it doesn't hit the release. the remote trunk release and the pull thing on the door doesn't work, just makes a snapping noise but doesn't hit anything.
try the key. it worked for me.

sux man. looks like a trip to the dealer or locksmith unless you can move that stuff in your trunk. try hittin the latch with a stick or something.

Try pushing the trunk down to make sure it's closed. then use the switch on the door (hopefully you will here the "ka-chunk"), now pull up on the trunk/decklid. My 2000 used to stick to the trunk gasket like it was glued on sometimes. good luck.
