A/C Buttons NOT WORKING!!

I need some info if any anyone gots some. I was working on my car, I was pulling out my radio to wire up lighting for my eq. I disconnected the display for the air but left the buttons connected while I drove to Home Depot for some tools that I needed. Driving to home depot I did not think of anything but the buttons are usually on, they werent on. I didn't care its like 50 degrees in Chicago right now so I had the windows open.

Well when I connected everything back, the display worked but the buttons did not. I tried wires, reconnect connectors, and I even disconnected battery for a few minutes. Still doesn't work, I have turned on the car before with no display connected, never had an issue. I dont know what it is.

I don't have a service light on. I know the ac is connected to a module which I relocated on top of my radio which the factory radio had it mounted on the bottom with a bracket.

AC is blowing factory AUTO 75 Degrees.

Its an S model and I think Im gonna go to the dealer to see what going on. I hope they dont say I messed something up. I only installed a radio with eq a year ago. Havent even modified wiring for my upcoming project. NOW IM SCARED

Anyone have general issues or did I F something up????

Did you by any chance turn on the switch while working on this with disconnected wires? If so you may need to visit the dealer to have it reset. I pulled the radio and display out to take pictures for the forum when I turned the car on in the process causing the airbag light to stay on. Covered under warranty since there was no evidence of tampering or damage.

I never disconnect the air bag sensor light, this will cause the issue you had. Learned my lesson working on cars. Im taking it to the dealer tomorrow hopefully I can just get a reset of some sort but no service light on. So I think it the physical buttons that went bad. Im noticing condensation coming from the edges of the buttons. Dont know what can cause that. Maybe the air conditioner when on these last couple of days of going hot to cold.
