Humming when stopping at high speeds ... normal?

I replaced all pads/rotors and rear calipers a few weeks ago. I have been noticing a humming noise only when I press the brakes at highway speeds. Has this happened to anyone in the forum?

The fluid was bled during this service and everything else checked out normal. The brake feel is fine, without any type of vibrations.

Pads are Akebono ProACTs and the rotors and Centric premium rotors.

I'm curious to know the cause of this as well. How hard to you have to press the brake pedal at highway speeds before the noise appears?

Brake humm.

I get that same noise under really hard braking, that hum that changes pitch with the reduced speed. I don't see a reason for it , maybe the new pads are creating a lot of heat to the rotor and create a sort of frequency vibration from the rotor vanes. Just thoughts.

I'm maybe pressing the brake pedal a little less than halfway ... definitively not slamming the brakes on the highway ... lmao. I haven't experienced any brake performance loss at all.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has experienced this issue. Maybe the rear calipers are now doing their job?

Does the humming happen while the brake pedal is applied, or after you lift your foot off the brakes?
