Spark plugged installed and I got my tags n stuff so I drove around rt40. I could feel the car sorta jerk in acceleration. It stops if I give it more gas. It feels weird is it my transmission??

Maybe spark plug or coil pack related since that was the last thing you did to the car before the drive. Sounds like you're misfiring.

It ran great b4 I think that the coil pack I grabbed for the one I broke until my new ones come in maybe no good. I think that maybe the problem and I didn't even think about it

i knew a guy that drove with only 5 cylinders working for a year and he got where he was going but he got horrible gas mileage and the car ran like ****. i would'nt go driving all over the place, but local quickies cant kill it. it'll just get $hitty gas mileage and run like $hit.

If you're going to drive it a lot like that it would be smart to do oil changes often, or at least keep a close eye on the oil. With a dead cylinder any fuel that is getting drawn in there will likely wash down your cylinder walls past the piston rings. If you get too much fuel in the oil you run a good chance of spinning a bearing. $0.02

***problem solved***
Went back and tighten up the screws that hold the ign. Coils down and the top 3 one to the left was loose. Screwed it down tight and its great! Its smooth and that could explain why sometimes when I was driving it wouldn't do it and other times it would I guess but I've been driving all day and its not doing it anymore can't wait for my new coils to get in. Thanks guys for the quick helpful info as always

i'll tell you right now, if she's running ok and no problems i'd wait before putting new coils in. especially if they're aftermarket, i've heard many a horror story about aftermarket coils in this forum so leave em be unless you want more issues. oem you might be ok, good luck

Curious, what brand and where did you buy the coils from, there's a seller on ebay selling supposedly oem coils with a lifetime warranty for cheap.

Hard to believe you know you can be low one quart and your dipstick will show nothing, if you've ever taken the lower oil pan off you can see the dipstick reaches less then an inch into it. He couldn't have ran with "relatively" no oil that's not possible.

I wouldn't buy something like coilpacks from ebay who claims they are oem. Take it from me I was one click away from buying some then found some low mileage ones here on the org and couldn't be happier.

wtf? relatively meaning low as ****. his car had that low oil "tick", and he finally put in around 3 quarts which got him to fill.

why are you arguing with me about a half generalized statement i made? are you kidding me?
