MS goes off the value of the car. First year it was $500. This year it was $230ish.

My friends registered in TN pay a $20 flat rate no matter what car they have.

Well in AZ it's $8 ($8.25 in Metro Tucson and Phoenix) + $1.50 air quality research fee + vehicle license tax (assessed value of 60% of the MSRP - reduced by 16.25% each year)

So my new G was $601.44 but I had a $422.48 credit so wasn't too bad I guess, I don't remember the Cayman but my wife was not a happy with me!

Even though ours are pretty cheap in Texas, ours don't seem to go down in price as the car ages as in alot of other states. I remember paying those outrageous fee's at home in S. Cal!
