I JUST PAID THE TOLL ON THE WAY BACK FROM CLIFTON NJ AND THERE HE WAS NEXT TO ME. A RED 96 OR SO MX6. WE JUST PUNCHED IT AND THE DUDE NEVER HAD A CHANCE. I PULLED AHEAD OF HIM AND STAYED THERE, I SLOWED DOWN WHEN I HIT ABOUT 120 AND HE DIDNT HAVE THE NERVE TO PULL NEXT TO ME . ONCE AGAIN IT SHOWES THAT YOU DONT F*** WITH THE MAXIMAS.

PS. I DRIVE MINE LIKE I STOLE IT.........ON OCCASION.

Good race, I used to own one. My max is faster.

 

Sounds like a 4cyl MX6. My old 4th gen 626 V6 (5-speed) had no problem rolling with 5speed Maximas.

any mods on it? What ever happened the the Mx6 board. I enjoyed reading that one MX6 vs Maxima thread that ended up in so much BS.

 

K&N drop in filter was the only mod I had. (If you want to call it a mod.) (I never saw the MX6 vs Maxima thread; I bet that was entertaining) If it wasn't for the poor quality, I would have kept the 626. It only had 164hp (stock) but was only about 2800lbs. I was able to run upper 15s with it.
