Loving the all red tails, that's for sure. Good job overall though.

 

Thanks for the input. Was not a fan of blacking out the red and leaving the clear part. I want to paint the chrome trim around the windows black. I want to paint the door handles as well.

Looking sharp! What did u use for the taillights?

 

I just used a red transparent piece of vinyl. used saran wrap to cover the tails and trace the clear part of the taillight with a sharpie and then transfer the saran wrap to the vinyl retrace and cut. spray the taillight with water and place the vinyl strip over the lights and use a window tint applier to smooth out.

 

Mind if I asked where u got that? Can window tint be used for the taillights? I wanna smoke the whole thing a bit..

I have my heart set on the ichiba spacers and the Cmod grill. I did the roofwing and H11's last month. the rear nissan emblem is debadged aswell. I want to paint the rear chrome trim on the trunklid.

 

I need to post up some fresh pics. I cant find a good spot to shoot some pics of the maxima

 

Not a huge fan of the all red tails but I like the fact that it's different especially if your doing the. CMOd and all that...it won't look like mine, hahaha!

How does the Stillen lip actually attach to the bumper? I heard it is a DIY, but does it come with instructions? Sorry for the slightly OT post.

 

The lip fits the bumper very snug, it takes two screws on each the inside of each bumper and double sided sticky tape.

 

Great looking Max. I like originality. Great idea on the all red tail. I almost thought it was the tail light from a Altima coupe. The fact that you did the tail with vinyl is PERFECT. Means you can take it off any time. That is what some guys here don't realize. I love vinyl, lol.

 

Looks great! Looks somewhat like the 350Z tail lights!

when i first read "all red tails" i thought it would look funky. now that i saw the pic though, i think they look good! i want to do the same vinyl but a smoke tint color over the clear part.

did you also do vinyl on the mirror signals? if not, what was your process there?

 

Looks good but having hard time readjusting to those taillights still lol

 

Just tinted the side markers on the mirrors with the thicker lighting tint for headlights and tails
