If you have a complete 6MT maxima - False you can go to the junkyard and pirate the few small things.

I would start by swapping over the complete wiring harnesses, front chassis and engine for starters, saves yourself A LOT of wiring nightmares - This is completely wrong I do not know what I was thinking back in 2012, use your stock wiring.

Then ECU, NATs, cylinder, key - This isn't necessary but nice to have... These days you can just get the ECU only and reprogram it yourself with NDSII

But chessss a 6MT I35 would be awesome - It is, I've owned them, it is the pinnace of A33 awesomeness.

With the exception of the emergency brake, I imagine it is the same as swapping a 6 speed to a 5.5 Maxima. Essential1 has done the swap to his I30.

The 6MT swap in a I35 is the same as it is in the maxima, te biggest headache is getting the MT transmission mount in place of the auto.... there is info out there... it not quite the same as a 5MT swap in tht aspect so idk if essential's swap would be that much helpful buti guess a good starting foundation

Easy.

The pressure switch for the AC condensor is different.

And basically anything that affects the idle is different, it's not as simple as you think.

Well when you engage WOT, the compressor is suppose to kill off, now with the swap you won't have the same sensor, so the compressor stays on adding parasitic drag to your car, and then IIRC the car does not like that so it will enter safe mode aka limp mode, seen it happen with my own eyes, it was quite hilarious

Also other problems arose too whenever he hit WOT, it would ALWAYS enter limp mode, but for a different reason every time.

The engine harness between the auto and manual vq35 is different. And there is more to it then just the reverse switch and the park neutral switch connectors.

people like to row their own and rev match. plus imo i really dislike the sound an auto makes between shifts, especially with exhaust... that lame 'slide' into next gear.

only auto i'd take is a dsg or something similar, shifts are maad quick like a rally car and it rev matches for you even in non sport modes... but i'd still enjoy shifting myself. just sayin lol

a 6spd i35 would be awesome... very rare like the 1st gen manual i30's
