Supercharged 5mt I30 or 09 Swap 6mt I35

I am having a hard time deciding on what build I want to pursue for my new daily.

I have added even more A Chasis to my roster and now that the weather is becoming nicer I am getting more motivation to build a new daily.

I have a 2000 I30 as well as a 2002 I35, thinking of building one and selling the other.

For the I30 I was thinking doing a 5 Speed Swap with Quaife and a 6-11lbs pulley with Full Bolt Ons and Greedy EMU with the DEK.

or

2002 With a HLSD 6 Speed Swap and 2009 Swap and Full Bolt ons

I have all parts for the I30 Project but if I decide to go with the i35 I could sell the blower, EMU and other odds and ends and purchase a 2009 Engine, and Haltech.

It would be nice to here from other members who have done one or the other and get your input.

Keep in mind this is would be my daily, so don't want to get to crazy as I have other platforms for that lol

5.7 6MT I35 ALL DAYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Also, why not a 4.7 6MT?

Either way, DO IT!!!!! It would be unique, and totally awesome.

Also, as a daily driver, wouldn't the NA reliabilty over SC still apply to these options?

AAckshun's already got the only(?) 6MT I35

I know right that is the only reason why the 2009 swap intrigues me so much...

However, I know that a low-mid boost supercharger setup can be just as reliable as members have logged tens of thousand of miles on their setups. Plus the whine!

And the 4.7.... Already on my mind perhaps even a Built, Turbo, 6MT version seeing as I already have all the components including a full swap 4th gen, add the 09 Swap and Haltech and I'll be ready to go

yeah I was wondering the same, how you gonna do the 09 swap on the 01 with the 3.0 timing? but yeah bro do the 6mt 09 swap. that's what I was gonna do, it has become more and more popular and the end results come out amazing.

I have not done either one, but I think I35 with 09 engine and 6 speed manual will be super cool and unique car. It gets my vote.

Because I won't be on 3.0 timing I'm doing the full ecu swap and then going with a haltech

IMO V1 S/C is a bit too noisy for the street, but some do like the gear whine. Loose the sleeper part of the I30 too.
