2000 I30 guage cluster

has ANYONE gotten this to work in a 4th gen? im currently running a 2k1 ae cluster but getting the I30 to light up is proving to be a challenge( its that freakin flourescent bulb

) anyone got a clue on this?

Its possible the "bulb" is bad. Its been mentioned several times in the i30/i35 section that they go out and I think some have even converted it to LED.

guide?no but me and several others have done it. just takes time

I've seen a thread in either the 5th gen or the I30/35 subforum that has pics of how to swap it to LED.
