need advice on oem flex repair?

need advice on oem flex repair?

It looks like the outer flex cover is torn. Any suggestion to get this cover replaced or just leave it alone?

Get a Y-pipe. Cheap and it will run better....a lot better. Just get the cheapest Y-pipe you can find. dont worry about the brand....a Y-pipe is a Y-pipe

An exhaust shop can cut out the old flex section and weld in a replacement. But it looks like you have already removed the Y-pipe from the vehicle, so you've already done the hardest part of replacing the Y-pipe altogether.

looks like you already have it off your car see what diameter it is and go down to your local O'Reilly or autozone and get a new flex then take it and get it replaced at a exhaust shop your looking at about 60-80 bucks in repair unless you have a buddy that can weld ^_^ then pushing 30 bucks or so its really your call and if its worth repairing

the inner flex is still good. just the outer that is torn.

The outer mesh has been missing for years from my pipe. No issues with the exhaust.

Contact Vibrant Performance and invest in a Turbo interlock lining flex section and call it the day!
