Wheel Hop w/ ACT and 18"s

I got my ACT put in last week and I love it so far It's incredibly grabby, but it's not hard to drive in traffic either. I love being able to chirp third, but do any of you have wheel hop problems when shifting hard into second? I have 18" wheels and the only time my car ever jumps is when launching occasionally. Tonight when I shifted to see how fast I could accelerate my car jumped so hard that the whole front end shook and my CD jumped for a few seconds. I'm going to put my stock wheels back on soon and hopefully I won't have this problem. I really don't want to be breaking my CV joints anytime soon :P Anyone elses car do this besides mine?

Re: Wheel Hop w/ ACT and 18"s

you have weak motor mounts.. get the Place Racing Motor Mounts from Cattman.. and you won't have any more wheel hop ever..

Like the man said.

Wheel hop on the Max is due to the OEM engine mounts. The Place Racing engine mounts use a higher density insulator material to eliminate this.
