Thats a pretty good deal, especially considering how good they look! AND the fact that those headlights are 350 for an OEM, a peice.

I'm interested, I was looking into getting HID's put in locally, but factory lights are always better. What else do i need for the swap into a 5th gen?

The headlights themselves and clips (cost $2-$6 each from the dealer - you need 2)

6 bucks for headlights from the dealer? Wow, that's a great deal!

$250-$400 depending on what kind of set you go with, New OEM, Used OEM, New Ebay, Used Ebay all avaliable.

Harness still available. This will save you LOTS of time splicing and dicing. This costs as much as the harness kit you will need to buy from nissan to even think about wiring 5.5 gen hids on a gen 5.

There is less of a gap with 5.5 gen headlights on a 5 gen. IMO, it makes the car look waaay better.

Whats the part number for the kit from nissan? Ive called the local nissan dealer and they said they have never heard of it.......Im wanting to do the factory upgrade and am trying to narrow it down as simply as possible...getting the headlights themselves is no problem, just the harness and whatever else I need, thanks.

There is no part number because I made these myself
You could buy all the parts and make the kit yourself (see my posts here: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...-how-here.html ) but you would spend more than what I am selling mine for.

You will need to order clips which go on the bottom of the headlights. They are different for 00/01 and 02/03 HIDS. Should run no more than $3-$6 each at a dealer and you need two - one for each headlight.

HI there, thanks again for the info, if I purchase the harness' that you have available, all I need is basically to plug them in to the existing harness, purchase the clips, and just connect the hid units to them? I hope Im reading this correctly....If thats the case, Id like to purchase those from ya......
