Need:Drivers side door hinges

Does anyone have good ones for sale or can recommend where they bought there's? My drivers side door is sagging, thus giving problems to close smoothly. Any information appreciated. Thanks

How much are you willing to spend? Otherwise, I would say get them OEM. I bought them a year ago and don't recall them being expensive.

Or you could just use a couple washers and shim it. I did that 6 months ago and it closes like butter and better yet, it was free since I had washers laying around. Just another option for ya...or at least something to get you by until you find hinges.

Where did you put those washers? Did you have to take off the door or possibly loosen the bolts to do it?

Is this a common problem with Maximas? I just bought a 2000 and the door was sagging, I asked to get it fixed before I took it home, but I don't want to run into the same problem again down the road.

Here's how I did it. I put a jack under the door, with a towel between the door and jack so as not to scratch the door. Did this to take the weight off it when backing the hinge nuts out but using a second person would be easier. Back the nuts out from the top hinge on the door side just a bit then take the nuts off of the bottom hinge on the door side. Put about 1/8 to 1/4 inch washer between the door and the hinge which will raise the bottom of the door up and get rid of the sag. Tighten everything back up and be done with it. I will suggest using a second person to be able to move the door around when it is unbolted...I managed with the jack method but it was a lot harder to line the hinge back up AND move the door around AND not drop the washes.

These are all brand new of coarse...just not sure about the difference in material of stock versus these.

I have both the top and bottom hinges from Nissan and I've never used them so they are sitting in my closet collecting dust. Shoot me a pm if you're interested.

FYI you can use the passengers side hinges, just flip them. Usually they are not worn out like the drivers side.

Used the washers method on the 2 bolts on the bottom hinge and I'm good again....for now. Lip kit is back on and I'm riding clean again. No door rubbing and no loud clang when closing door.
