JWT ECU for 1996 Maxima 5mt with 7200rpm limiter

Have a JWT ECU for a 1996 Maxima has the rev limiter set at 7200. For an NA Pop upgrade.

Ran just fine, traded in my maxima and pulled this out right before.

My question is - what would happen if you put this in a 99? Would it run and just christmas tree? Curious

Wouldn't work. 99's are mostly Cali spec and this is for a FED max.

It will NOT work in a 99. The 99s have an immobilizer and a chipped ignition key.

nice touch for 00vi and mevi-ers if you don't have emanage to extend rev limit.

I almost forgot why the 99 wouldn't be compatible, but thanks for the clarification!

After re-pinning two things this will work in a 99 (CkPS).

Your security light will stay on though.
