What oxygen sensor is best for my 2000?

recently i bought an NGK ( NTK ) oxygen sensor for my max, and it feels like it using more gas than it should, i know that doesnt sound scientific , but i am used to my car and it seems like the fuel gauge is moving faster nowadays.

The part number from the sensor is 24619, and i was reading that the better sensor to use is Bosch, but i thought Japanese cars hated bosch products?

I will get a Bosch sensor if it calls for it but i dont want to change it out if i will get the same result

SOme people say out cars dont like Bosch spark plugs, I tend to disagree considering I used to run them. They make good stuff but most o2's are essentially the same the only difference is the ease of installation. I usually go middle of the road on rockauto.com

I got a Bosch OE fit o2 sensor at Advance Auto for $90 and the dealer quoted me like $230 or something crazy like that. Works fine but it wasnt a 'perfect' fit and needed to be pushed pretty hard to fully seat in the receptacle.

How easy is it to swap out the O2 sensors on my own? What special equipment do I need if any?

Usually OEM would be Denso or NTK. But if you bought a Bosch from a store, there is a good chance that the actual sensor would be made by Denso but in a Bosch box. Look at the country of origin. If it is made in Japan, then most likely it would be a Denso under Bosch name.
