leaky trans

leaky manual transmission. two bolts on the front seem to be dripping. even more when hot. Any idea what these bolts hold in place in the transmision?

I'm not sure if I will be a ton of help. However, you are being to vague. Take a pic with your phone or something. Any answer you get at this point will just be a guess.

Dollars to donuts that is your upper oil pan leaking. Even a RMS would be a more likely candidate. How many miles on the upper pan seals?

What does the oil from the leak looks like ? Motor oil or trans fluid ? If it's look like motor oil then it could be coming from the rear main seal. if it's trans fluid then it could be front (input shaft) trans seal.

By the time the oil reaches the access port/flywheel inspection plate I'm thinking of you can not tell based on color.

The smell is a dead give-away of which fluid it is.

Input Shaft Oil Seal, Rear Main seal are your two targets, both of which need the transmission to be dropped to find out.
