I have Tein Basic Dampers

When I turn my steering wheel either direction.. if Im on park my car makes sounds and vibrations similar to that of spring popping in a mattress. It will usually last till first gear and disappear after.

I had a friend turn the steering wheel while I looked i noticed that the strut is turning when the steering is turned. I havent noticed it before but is this normal?

Any help/info is greatly appreciated.

 

The strut is bolted to the knuckle which rotates when the wheel is turned.
Are the teins new, used, how long have you had them on the car?

 

They're old...probably close to 80k on them....i guess its time for a new suspension?
