OEM Nissan rubber matts $89.99 retail but $114.95

How can the Nissan Factory rubber matts retail for $89 yet the dealer charges $114.95? I saw a few up on Ebay for around $85 delivered and figured if they retailed for $89 I would just pick a set up at the dealer. I called around and a dealer 20 minutes from me had a set in stock. Being burned before I had to ask "How much" that when I got the $114.95 price. I said I thought the retail price was $89.........he said it was....so then I said what happened to $89 and he said that what the computer says

Mark up. My bro works at orielys auto parts and he gets parts at cost. When I buy something, it list the Store price and the dealer mark up price, meaning if they sell a 3 pack of black ice for 3.99 in the store, they sell it for 5.99 to a shop.

I only pay 1.50 .

Thats not how it typically works..........Typically retail is the highest price the consumer will pay and dealers and parts stores get discounted prices off of retail. The deal here is the dealer is charging higher than retail price.
