Fog light rewire with parking lights

I've been wanting to wire the fog lights to light up with the parking lights for some time but just recently started looking at the wiring diagrams and i'm unsure of where to supply the power when the lighting switch is in the first position. So I did a search here on the forum and found many others who have done the same with an outside link to the steps to do so, but that link doesn't seem to work anymore. Does anyone have the link or are there others out there who have done this rewire before who might be able to help me out?

Grab a test light and figure out which corner light wire gets power when they're turned on. You can essentially ground pretty much anywhere so that's all you need.

green wire in the corner light harness..

craigbraces old writeup: he cut the trigger wire to the fog light relay, and replaced it with parking light power from the corner light harness...the wire that originally triggers the relay is from the headlight pos i believe, think its red/blue?

Its the same for all generations on how to do it. The only difference is the color of the wires. I've done it to my 3rd & 5.5 gen.

I know this is a little delayed... But I thought I would show the completed work while it was somewhat foggy.

The wiring mod was simple enough, only took 15 mins or so, but installing the led's were a PAIN!! Broke three of the mounting bolts simply because they had become one with the body... Attempted to drill them out but I got fed up with it after the first one. The passenger side mount was bent somehow (as you can see) I didn't really have time to fix it, but I did what I could. And working with the light wires themselves that the previous owner had cut were barley reachable through the front... But overall I the love the result and definitely worth the $30 and the time!!!

Oh and before I forget and for future reference the trigger wire is red/yellow.

Nice azteca red. Been a while since I've seen one in person. Congrats on the mod. I completed mine a while back with 3000k (gold) fogs. Of course my slim lights were in-salvageable. So I swapped in the earlier blocky ones (more of an old school affect). Anyway I'm happy with the out come and seems as you are too.
