Anyone gotten an ebay rear spoiler?

My spoiler is in serious need of painting and I've been quoted ~$200. I saw this one on ebay and wanted to see if anyone had experience with these. What do you think? It'd save me around $60.

Wow, looks like a great deal - says they've been in the painting business for 10 years. Only worrisome thing is no returns or exchanges.

Dang, that's pretty cheap. Wonder what quality paint they are using. It's not gonna match your car though. Your car is 12 years old and paint has faded.

You think the difference in paint would show up? It's the sand/gold color.

It really depends on the quality of paint they use, and how far gone the paint on your trunk lid is. I had my spoiler re-done (in QT1) and I couldn't tell the difference - it blended perfectly. If your paint is in good shape, it shouldn't be an issue.

Honestly, if you looked around for a smaller shop that already has your paint color, you should be able to do it pretty cheap. I don't know about the KT3, but my paint (3-stage) was fairly expensive (about $120/qt for the base & pearl). Shop it around - if you strike out, that ebay spoiler might end up being a good deal.
