As the title states, I think my keyless entry control unit or SECU took a dump. None of my interior lights, door locks or keyless remote work.

That being said, if I purchase a used one off of ebay for $69. do I have to have the car programmed by the dealer afterwards. Does anyone know the process and price?

Make sure fuse 12 didnt blow. A 15 amp middle row third from the left I believe.

 

nice ride but you don't have to reprogram only thing u may need to reprogram is your keyless enrty remote i had to change mines.

 

Managed to find a SECU at the salvage yard for $50. Put it in and everything works but my key fob.

 

just reprogram keyfob google instructions take like 10 secs

 

All done. Thanks to all the chimed in. The car is back to operating perfectly. Now somebody come and take it.

 

Do the SECU's between 02 and 03 interchange?

 

maybe, I know that the 5th don't interchange with the 5.5.
