4th gen bose audio issue

Ok, I need some help. I just tried to install a new Jensen vm8023hd radio in place of the bose. The red light flashes for power. Uninstalled and hooked the factory Bose back up and I get a clicking through the speakers from the right/smaller bank. Anyone got ideas? I'm gonna be upset if I blew my brand new head unit.

PS. currently got the neg terminal off hearing that helped someone else previously.

Did you connect the remote wire to the harness cause the bose has a amp that pushes the speakers. if its not connected they wont play.

yes i did, besides.... no offense, but hooking the bose back up shouldnt be clicking. I dont know what I did wrong. I have hooked enough systems, everything is wired correctly from the Jensen to Soche wire harness. so it should have worked first try.

for those who have this issue turn up it was the antenna. I forgot to buy the adapter and just plugged everything in wanting to test it, and apparently im told the antenna is a second ground that is necessary, and it fixed the problem. Wally world here I come tomorrow, LOL

no dont waste your money there. you can get a better one off of amazon for cheaper and it doesnt have all those hook ups in the back.

Antenna is the ground for the stock radio since the harness has no ground. An aftermarket radio you want to screw the ground wire coming from the deck directly to the car chassis.
