Break light constantly on - only in spoiler

My break light in the spoiler stays on even if the car is off.
Upon pressing the break, the regular break lights never illuminate and
the spoiler light is constantly on. I had to remove the stop lamp fuse to avoid draining the batter.

So, no normal break light functionality; spoiler brake light stays on no matter what. And my brake light in dash has recently started to appear intermittently now.

Any ideas?

Disconnect the spoiler brake light and see what happens. Connector is under the sound deadening material on inside of trunk lid. Another thought - brake light switch may be going bad and "leaking" enough current to light spoiler light (which is LED) but not brake bulbs. Switch is relatively cheap and easy to replace.
