Dear all,

I have a 2003 maxima with OEM tire size as 205/65/15....I am planning buy new alloys and tire for my ride..How would you recommend to upsize the rim? Is it good to go with 16" or 17" alloys? what are tire size options i havefor 16" or 17" alloys??

I am very new member to this group. Appreciate your help.

 

How wide are you planning on going with the wheels?
Are you lowered at all?

Those questions will determine how wide your tires should be.

As for sidewall, I usually go accordingly:

15's - 65.
16's - 55.
17's - 45.
18's - 40.
19's - 35.

 

You're 03 came with 15s?!? Didn't all of 2003's come with 17s? And Chris OEM tire size for the 17s were 225-50-17
