cvt trans cooler.

do they make any real after market transmission coolers for the 7th gens. I've seen a couple online but i don't know if they're legit. car keeps going into limp mode after a couple of hard pulls, smfhh.

Pretty much any fluid cooler will work. Check out B&M, but you'll have to buy a parts kit for install.

Or you can just buy a kit made for a G35/370Z and retrofit it yourself. The only real difference is going to be the amount of hose you need to route, which is cheap to buy.

Seems to me some additional CVT fluid would also be required?

I looked into the front of the car through the bottom and the grill and it has a small finned cooler in front bottom of the radiator. Would this be a transmission cooler? The owner's amnual does not mention this item.

Negative. That is the power steering fluid cooler. Transmission cooler is built into radiator like most other traditional automatics.
