Alternative fix to expensive Nissan Blow By hose?
Alternative fix to expensive Nissan Blow By hose?
Today I replaced the pcv valve on my wife's '91 Max. It was the original btw!
Anyway, the hose that goes from the valve to the top of the rear cover is extremely hard and brittle, and is split on both ends. Of course as everyone here probably already knows, one side of the hose has a larger diameter than the other, meaning it makes it impossible to find an aftermarket hose. The oem hose from Courtesy Parts is around $30 with shipping. Way too much for this old car.
I've done a lot of searching, but I can't find any threads here that might have found an alternative method to the oem hose. I was even thinking of using an adapter to go from the larger size inlet on the valve cover to the smaller size. Is there a cheaper way to get this thing fixed?
