OK OK OK OK Ok , yesterday i asked about mufflers, gas, and stuff that got me laughed at. Since i got my max this time last week i have ben inquring on this that and the third. I rember when i was your age nah just kidding, i rember when i had probs with my girls sebring vert had a lil hesitation I used throttle body intake cleaner and wa la. No more cutting off at stop lights and the jumping u would feel at idle was cut to a minimal. SO with that ben said i went to the auto zone with intentions of getting intake cleaner but i opted for mass air flow cleaner wich advertise restored hp). Meeter was clean sprayed a few times and took it back got the intake cleaner. removed the intake and wow was it gunky so i cleaned it the directions said to maually open flipper and clean inside there but not to overspray. With that been said more gunk black sticky gunk got that clean as much as can with out overspray and wiped around it stareted to shine. Because i did not wont to over do it in fear of harming the max i chilled oiut b4 i got trigger happy( pulling trigger and dirt comeing off can make u want to spray more and more) Now for the drive!!!! Amazing is all i can say I can definatley tell a huge diffrence. when ever i hit the gas ther is very slight delay then is like some charge that builds up and unleashes and i do mean unleashes. You also got to remberi did say there was a lot of gunk. At first i thought(B4 i punched it later in the drive) i messed something up because of the slight delay is this normal. I do have 4speed auto

 

very slight delay when punching it? Yeah that's normal. If it lasts a second then no it's not, but throttle response when you go WOT is not instantaneous.

Search around the how-to's and find the one on cleaning out your TB and EGR. Replace your fuel filter if it's been awhile or you don't know how long it's been. Check for a knock sensor ghost code and replace KS if it shows up. That'll help too. So will premium fuel and tc-w3 additive (search for the thread on it).

 

cool i will do just that next mission find the fule filter. my car did not come with manual or keyless entry however the dealer just called and said i got 2 remotes manual in the mail. sat, or mon.

 

fuel filter is in the engine bay if you've got a 4th gen (hint, update your profile!). Get the one for a Z32 if you don't have ABS, it's longer and won't need to be replaced as often.

 

yeah if your TB was that bad then the gunk is not going to end there. id say clean the whole top of your engine like most people do, and youll notice a nice difference.

as far as throttle response, mine is pretty instantaneous lol, especially at WOT
