How many LEDs do I need if I'm changing the gauge lights to blue? So far I bought 6, does anyone know how many lights are behind the cluster?

Also, how do I change the needle to a bright red led, is there a light bulb for that?

OP, these are the "cool white" leds in my 97. They are pretty blue but just to give you a reference point. Also, if you want red needles, take the factory paint off the UNDERSIDE of the needles by using nail Polish remover or something similar. You don't need to take the needles off to do so, but be careful that you don't get any of the remover on your cluster. Then, what I did, was use a red permanent marker on the UPPER side of the needles. Works good with the cool blues. You can also get some "Testors" model paint and do the same thing but the marker worked great for me. Just make sure you put the marker on the upper side of the needles...it does not look as good if you do it on the underside.
