Car still dies after starting. Now with video
My 93 SE suddenly stopped starting some time ago. I've replaced some things and now have a video to show the behavior rather than describing it.
http://youtu.be/yATDeD2mWQU
The plugs are dirty but not 'fouled' per say -- I had some leak-down from the valve cover gaskets that may have gotten in to the engine.
I replaced the starter, battery, and battery terminals recently which took care of a host of other issues. I also cleaned the PCV valve, replaced spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter.
I've also tested these with no symptoms: compression test, electrical test on all ignition coils (ohm and spark), MAF, throttle position sensor. The ECU throws no codes.
Any help tracking down the cause is appreciated.

**edit ,i must have mis-read that as trouble getting start signal etc.
so nevermind
could it be your ignition switch?i have a spare one we could just plug in to test it by unplugging yours without removing your ignition switch . mine is from a 92 se 5mt, im in north seattle

The ground on the FP sending unit is a known issue for no start condition. If the plastic insulation on the top of the sending unit cover is cracked or damaged this could cause a no start condition.

Interesting -- when you say "sending unit" you mean the connectors to the pump under the rear seat or something else?
