Driving Problem

Ok I got a 94 Maxima GXE with about 194,4xx mi on it... This afternoon i turned the car on and it started fine, but when i put it into reverse gear all of a sudden the RPM's dropped alot and then it died. I turned it back on and put it into drive to put it back into my drive way and it did the same problem. I checked the transmission fluid and it needed about a quart, i obiously put what it needed but it was still dying on me. I don't know what might be the problem with it but maybe someone out there will. any help would be good thanks!

What happens if you let it warm up first? May be a IACV problem.
Something many guys miss on the VG'S are checking the small vacuum lines, particularly at the heater core valve on the fire wall. I've experienced significant cold start and idle and stalling issues when these crack and leak. This always occured for me in the winter as the old hoses got cold, stiff, and brittle. Something to look at.

check the connector on the maf that you don't have green corrosion. if you do just clean off the corrosion with contact cleaner and a small brush and reconnect. i also know injectors will have this as well so you want to clean that off as well. just something to look at as well. it may or may not help if not improve.
