Does any one know if a JTW ecu for a 1996 model maxima work on a 1999 model maxima?

 

Yes but some pins are different for 99 ecu. Theres a recent thread for this sort of swap but he used an oem 95 in his 99. Same procedure, should be within the last 3 or 4 pages entitled 95 ecu swap in 99 or somethin

4. Answer: Not unless JWT programmed the ECU to work in a 99. Some pin re-wiring and NATS to worry about (search NATS)
