Groaning from Right Rear when brake is tapped

So I haven't been able to find anything in search that is more than just vaguely similar to my problem.

Whenever I press the brake pedal maybe half an inch I get a groaning sound coming from the right rear. If I hold it at that point it will persist, however if I press the pedal past it the sound disappears.

All 4 rotors and brake pads are new, as well as the rear calipers. The caliper on the wheel in question was replaced ~5 months ago.

The only thing I can think of is wheel bearing, but it just seems odd. Anybody have any other ideas? When I press down on the right rear of the car I don't hear anything from the suspension.

Jack up the rear, inspect the right rear wheel bearing and brakes.

Inspect your caliper for possible early seizing. If good, inspect the brake cable for crack and rusting which may prevent your caliper from fully opening.

What exactly am I looking for when looking for early seizing? I'm not too mechanically inclined as I haven't particularly indulged myself in learning everything.

I have a hard time believing that considering that it only happens when I slightly press the brake pedal and only on one wheel.

Jack up the rear of the car. Spin both wheels by hand with hand brake down. Wheels should spin freely for a while. If one stops rather quicker, check the caliper on that wheel along with the brake line. The brake line you are looking for cracking and bulging in the line showing rust.

Well the problem is solved.

I ended up popping off the tire, greasing the caliper-pad contact points, as well as the slide pins. I also loosened my ebrake a tad, now the noise is gone.
