Water leak pooling on drivers side floorboard

My 02 SE has been leaking water onto the drivers side floorboard whenever it is parked in the rain. I cleaned out dirt/leaves where the hood meets the windshield as well as checked the rubber around the door but no luck. I can't seem to trace the source of the leak, and everything I've been able to find online points at the sunroof, but I don't have one! Additionally, I get water dripping from the sunglasses holder from time to time. I was thinking it might be that the windshield itself is not sealed in properly or something to do with the molding around it? Any ideas?

Edit:
Added bit about sunglasses holder.

If my education in physics serves me correct, there should be condensation in the location where it is leaking if it is the windshield seals.... You might want to try cleaning out the crap in the air box where the cabin filter sits. Mines clogged up and water would build up and leak into the passenger side. Just an idea.

Do like most Honda owners do and put that blue painters tape around the windshield. See if that fixes the problem.

I didn't see any condensation but I will keep a lookout. I just pulled back the carpet to find over an inch of standing water, I'll have to vacuum that out tomorrow. I hope there isn't anything electrical that runs along the drivers floorboard. To make things worse, I think we're hovering around freezing temperatures.

generally its either a sunroof or windshield.

and in your case that narrows it down. I haven't seen poly urethane go bad, but 10 years is about the oldest car i've owned (currently this maxima).

Has the windshield been replaced?

I don't think its ever been replaced. But now that I think of it I accidentally left out that I get water dripping from the sunglasses holder from time to time, I imagine that points to a windshield issue as well. I suppose I should pull out a garden hose and test the seal by running water over it.

Open sunroof and get A metal coat hanger and\or air pressure hose....I bet it could be that one of the drains in ur sunroof clogged up and the water has nowhere to go put back in your car. If you're still having trouble, search sunroof leaking in search...post # 32 has A pic

If it is leaking from the sunglass holder, then your windshield needs to be resealed. I had the same problem on my 2000 GXE and fortunately the glass place corrected it even though they had worked on it 7 years ago!

WOW! You don't find very many places like that.

definatley the windshield if its been replaced, that is where the bead of urethane is generally connected. Its easy to tell if its been replaced as it wont have the factory stamp (engraved or etched)on it and will be some other brand like PPG or PGWA ETC. most companies (even nissan will not use OEM windshields) because of the markup they get on the cost. unless you or the original owner has paid the extra insurance cost to have only certified parts put on it.
